Services

For visitors with special needs

  • You can access the library via a ramp in a wheelchair or stroller. From the reading room or lobby, you can access the ramp inside the building, and from there to the loaning hall.
  • We have an accessible toilet with a changing table.
  • The service counter has a hearing aid’s hearing loop, which you can use with your hearing aid in hearing loop mode.
  • You can borrow a magnifying glass from the service counter.

Home delivery service

If you are a resident of Tallinn and are temporarily or permanently disabled and unable to visit the library, you can use the free home delivery service.

Lending service for institutions (roaming service)

Download from books, magazines, sports equipment, etc. for institutions (legal entities). At the Liivalaia Library we offer a mobile collection service for medical and care institutions.

Public transport and parking

Public Transportation

  • If you’re coming by public transportation, the four nearest bus stops all have the same name—“Hotell Olümpia.” Buses 3, 16, 19, 23, 25, 39, 54, and 67 stop at these stops.
  • You can view public transportation schedules at transport.tallinn.ee

Parking

  • Visitors arriving by car can park in the Stockmann parking garage according to the rates in effect there, or on the street near the building, where the paid parking zone for the DOWNTOWN area applies.
