Services

Kännukuke garden

Kännukuke garden is a place open to all for activities and socialising. The garden is organised by the NGO Ökoteaduslikkuse Klubi. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute:

  • by regularly participating in workshops and build-ups
  • caring for communal flower beds with others
  • taking care of your own personal flower bed
  • assisting with garden management

For more information about the Kännukuke Garden, visit the Kännukuke Garden’s Facebook group.

For visitors with special needs

  • You can get to the library via a ramp. You can get to the second floor by using the elevator, which you can use by asking the librarian.
  • There is an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
  • Service counter and hall has a hearing aid hearing loop, which you can use with your hearing aid in the hearing loop mode.
  • You can borrow a magnifying glass from the service counter.

***

Home service. If you are a resident of Tallinn and are temporarily or permanently disabled and unable to visit the library, you can use the library’s free home delivery service→

Public transport and parking

Public Transportation

  • We are located right near the Lehola bus stop; buses 10, 13, 20, 20A, 24, 28, 37, and 61
  • You can view public transportation schedules at tallinn.transport.ee

Parking

  • Visitors arriving by car can park for free in the library courtyard, which has 12 parking spaces.
  • When driving to the Kännukuke Library, use the Lehola bus stop on E. Vilde Street as a landmark. If you’re coming from Sõpruse puiestee, turn right after the bus stop; if you’re coming from Mustamäe tee, turn left before the bus stop. There’s also a sign with the library’s name on E. Vilde Street. Continue along the residential neighborhood’s internal road for about 100 meters; on the right-hand side, inside the fence, you’ll see a white two-story building. Drive through the gate—next to which is a sign reading “Kännukuke Library”—to enter the library’s courtyard.
