Services
- You can borrow a ROMOSS sailing 3 battery bank for on-site use to recharge the batteries of your mobile phone and other digital devices.
- There are four computer workstations. You can use the OpenOffice software and an ID-card reader on the computer.
You can borrow e-readers from Tallinn Libraries for 21 days without the possibility of extending the return period.
You can borrow a BOOX Go Color 7 (Gen II) e-reader from Sõle library.
We offer free individual and group training in Tallinn Libraries. We will agree on the time and place of the training together. The topics can be adapted and combined. We’ll find the right option for you.

Scanning
- Scanning by a librarian and sending to the reader’s email address 0,20 € per page.
- One computer workstation has a scanner with film and slide frame scanning capabilities.
You can play various board games at the library.
We invite kindergarten groups, classes and teachers to visit us for library hours.
- Library hour is an educational and participatory non-formal educational program in the library.
- It lasts about 45 minutes.
- Educational programmes are free of charge for Tallinn educational institutions! (except Culture Ticket classes). For institutions outside Tallinn, the library’s price list applies (except via Culture Backpack). ↓
Tallinn Libraries sell fiction (including children’s literature and poetry) and non-fiction books that are out of date, in large print or in new editions. Book prices start from € 0,15. The books on sale can be consulted at the library. The proceeds of the sale will be used to buy new books.
Libraries occasionally organise book fairs, keep an eye on our news, events calendar or join our newsletter. We also share information on our social media channels on Facebook and Instagram.
Almost all of us have books at home that we’ve read once but don’t want to read again. I’m sure there’s someone somewhere who needs that book for themselves. You can bring the book(s) you no longer need from home to our library and pick up a new one from the library’s book exchange shelf.
We offer our readers the opportunity to use our training classroom free of charge. Group size up to 10 people.
To organise paid training courses, events or public events, the same space can also be rented at 40 € per hour, with a coefficient of 0,4-1,0.
At Sõle library (Sõle 47b), you can use the sewing room. Please bring your own materials needed for the work, such as fabric, thread, pattern paper, etc.
For visitors with special needs
- You can access the library in a wheelchair or with a stroller via the ramp in front of the building. An elevator leads to the second floor.
- We have an accessible toilet.
- The service counter and training classroom are equipped with a hearing loop that you can use with your hearing aid in hearing loop mode.
- You can borrow a magnifiying glass for on-site use.

Public Transportation
- The bus stop closest to the library is Nisu, which is served by buses 26, 26A, 32, 33, 35, 40, 66, 72, and 93

Parking
- Visitors arriving by car can park for free in the parking lot in front of the library, where three parking spaces are reserved for library visitors
- Between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., parking is permitted for up to two hours, and the start time must be recorded using a parking meter
