Placing a hold

You can put yourself in waiting list for up to five borrowed books (excluding periodicals and library bus books).

To add to the queue:

1. Make sure you have a valid library card.
2. Choose a book(s) or anything else you would like to add to the queue.
3. Contact us:
   • by email. Write to us your first name, surname and personal identification number, e-mail address, the author of the book or other publication you want, the title and, if applicable, the year of publication (if you want a specific year).
   • by phone
   • at the library
   • using the online form below↓

Good to know:

• you can add yourself to the queue for a book that is currently being borrowed.
• you can be added to the waiting list for the same title in only one library.
• you can’t order a book from one library to another.
• you will be notified by email when the book arrives
• the book will be kept for you in the library on the holds shelf for two days
• NB! be sure to check out the book from the holds shelf before leaving the library!
