Museum ticket rental

At Kalamaja and Kadrioru libraries, you can borrow the following museum tickets:

With a borrowed ticket, you can visit these museums for free. You can borrow both individual and family tickets.

Enter “muuseumipilet” in the ESTER search in the e-catalogue, and check ticket availability.

Use of museum tickets

You can borrow a ticket once a quarter for 14 days. It is not possible to extend the returning period.
You can borrow one ticket at a time.
It is possible to book a ticket for a same-day pick-up. To do this, contact the library
Return the ticket to the library where you borrowed it.
Children under 7 years of age are not eligible to borrow the combined ticket for the Tallinn Literary Center and the Tallinn City Museum, or the ticket for the Kai Art Center; nor can children under 9 years of age borrow tickets to the Estonian Health Museum and the Museum of Occupations and Freedom (Vabamu).
A ticket to the Kai Art Center grants access only to the exhibitions. If a public event (such as a guided tour, an artist talk, etc.) is taking place as part of the exhibition program on the day of your visit, that event is also included with your ticket.
A Vabamu ticket grants admission only to the museum at Toompea 8b.
