For visitors with special needs

  • We have an accessible restroom and a wheelchair lift. We can assist you with using the wheelchair lift; please call 683 0970 when you arrive. Paid parking is available in front of the library.
  • The service counter has the hearing aid’s hearing loop, which you can use with your hearing aid in hearing loop mode.
  • You can borrow a magnifying glass from the service counter.

Public Transportation

  • The closest tram and bus stop to the library is Balti jaam, which is served by trams 1, 2, and 5, and buses 2, 3, 8, 21, 21B, 41, 41B, 59, 66, 84, 85, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, and 96
  • You can view public transportation schedules at tallinn.transport.ee

Parking

  • Parking on the streets near the library is subject to a fee in accordance with the downtown parking zone rates (http://www.parkimine.ee)
  • When parking in front of the library on Kotzebue Street, the first 15 minutes are free with a parking meter; on Saturdays, parking is free after 3:00 p.m.
  • A short distance away, in front of the Kalamaja Apteek (Kotzebue 9), parking is permitted for 30 minutes with a parking meter.
