Copying, printing, scanning
Scanning (paid)
You must come to the library to scan. Scanning in A4 or A3 format without OCR and sending it to your email address costs 20 cents per page. Some libraries have a scanner for independent use at the computer workstations, in which case scanning is free.
Digitization of photos
The Kalamaja Library (Kotzebue 9) has a Memory Lab, where you can digitise old photos, documents, photo negatives and positives for free. At your disposal is the Kodak Scanza Digital Film Scanner for digitizing negatives and slides one by one, and the EPSON Perfection V850 Pro film, photo and document scanner.

3D printer
There are two 3D printers in the Kännukuke library – Ultimaker 2+ and Ultimaker S3 – to print smaller plastic objects such as toys, jewellery or construction parts. You can create your own designs or download them from the internet. You can buy the filament you need for printing on the spot. The price of 3D printing is based on the weight of the object: €0.20 per gram. You can also use your own material if you wish – in this case printing is free.
