Copying, Printing, Scanning
Scanning (for a fee)
You must come to the library to scan. Scanning A4 or A3-sized documents without text recognition and having them sent to your email address costs 20 cents per page. Some libraries have scanners available for self-service use at the computer stations; in that case, scanning is free.
Digitization of photos
The Kalamaja Library (Kotzebue 9) has a Memory Lab, where you can digitise old photos, documents, photo negatives and positives for free. At your disposal is the Kodak Scanza Digital Film Scanner for digitizing negatives and slides one by one, and the EPSON Perfection V850 Pro film, photo and document scanner.

3D printer
The Kännukuke Library has two 3D printers—an Ultimaker 2+ and an Ultimaker S3. You can use them to print smaller plastic objects, such as toys, jewelry, or construction parts. You can create your own designs or download them from the internet. You can purchase the filament needed for printing on-site. We charge for 3D printing based on the weight of the object: €0.20 per gram. If you prefer, you can also use your own material—in that case, printing is free.
