Naxos Music Libraries
Tallinn Libraries offer free online access to English-language music libraries
- Naxos Music Library – Classical music, jazz, film music
- Naxos Music Library Jazz – classical and contemporary jazz music
- Naxos Music Library World – gives an opportunity to listen to music from all over the world. There are recordings of over 32,000 artists in the database, including Estonian folk musicians.
Naxos Music Library contains additional materials such as videos, encyclopaedia, librettos, analyses of works, examples of pronunciations of names.
To use the Naxos music libraries you need:
- to be a rasident of Tallinn
- a valid library card
- no debts to the library
Log in:
- user ID is the personal identification number
- password is My ESTER password
Good to know:
- You can be logged in to one database at a time. Select a database from the drop-down menu on the login page.
- This is a streaming service that requires an internet connection.
- Apple devices can Naxos music databases may cause interference. Please use another browser instead of Safari browser or another device.
- After listening, log out of both the website and the app to release the licence to the next user.
- Create a separate database inside useraccount if you wish:
- create and record personal music libraries
- listen to music from the NML, NML Jazz or NML World app.
- English video tutorials Naxos databases.
NB! Music collections may only be used for private purposes. Musical works may not be performed in public. Copying and use of data (including lyrics) from the collections for commercial purposes is not allowed.
