OverDrive e-Library
In the Tallinn Libraries OverDrive eLibrary, you can read foreign language e-books and magazines and listen to Estonian and foreign language audiobooks for free.
You can use the OverDrive website in 20 different languages, including English or Russian. The OverDrive page, which provides solutions to technical problems, is in English.

To use the OverDrive eLibrary you need:
- to be a rasident of Tallinn
- a valid library card
- no overdue chargesto the library
Log in:
- user ID is the personal identification number
- password is My ESTER password
You can use the OverDrive eLibrary:
- in the browser at tallinnaraamatukogud.overdrive.com
- on your smart device in the Libby app
- Libby’s online version at libbyapp.com
Good to know:
- You can borrow up to five audio and e-books at a time.
- You can borrow an unlimited number of magazines at a time.
- You can read or listen to samples before borrowing.
- What you borrow will remain on your account for 21 days.
- The return is automatic, but you can also return manually earlier.
- You can queue for borrowed e-books and audiobooks.
- When the queue reaches you, the system will send you a notification.
- You have three days from the date of receipt of the queue notification to borrow.
- Using the Libby app, you can download and read or listen to borrowed books without an internet connection.
- In the Libby app, you can recommend items to the library that are not yet in the collection. To recommend a book, add a “Teavita mind” tag (Notify Me).
- Many downloaded books can be moved to an e-reader using Adobe Digital Editions.
