Seed Library

At Laagna library’s Seed Library you can get a variety of seeds for free to try to grow your own plants. No need to return “borrowed” seeds, there are no deadlines or penalties for late returns. If you manage to get seeds from a plant you have grown,you can bring them back to the Seed Library as a donation. Other seeds of flowers, perennials and herbs are also welcome

Using the Seed Library

• If you are not yet a registered user of Tallinn Libraries, register online or at the library.
• Check the e-catalogue ESTER to see which seeds are available. Use the search term “Seemnelaegas”.
• If you need additional information, contact us at seemnelaegas@tln.lib.ee or call 635 0020.
• To collect seeds, come to the Laagna library.
• If you need a place to grow your seeds, askb about the Laagna garden in the library courtyard.

Tallinn Libraries is entered in the Plant Health Register as a certified packager of seeds and seed mixtures with registration number 4728.
