E-catalogue ESTER
In the ESTER e-catalogue you can check the location and availability of books, board games, technical equipment, sports equipment, etc. in our libraries.
To simplify your search, select “Tallinn Libraries” instead of “All libraries”.
In My ESTER, you can.
- change your password
- Check which books, sports equipment, DVDs, and other items you currently have checked out
- review and extend their return period
- provide new contact details (phone and email).
- view the amount of unpaid overdue fines (if the books have been returned).
- view your lending history (if you have enabled it).
- make and save lists of books that interest you.
- make proposals to the library for the purchase of books
- and other exciting things
You get your My ESTER password when registering as a reader or directly from the librarian. If you log in with a password, a confirmation code will be sent by SMS or email. You can also log in to the self-service with your ID card, Mobile-ID or Smart-ID.
Updating contact details
Please keep the contact information you provided to the library up to date so that we can notify you when a book has arrived, when a due date is approaching, or about other important matters.

- You can change your place of residence or other details at the library
