Classical psychology claims that humans perceive the world primarily through five senses – sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch, with 80% of information being received through the sense of sight. Humans distinguish colors, as well as sounds, according to the capabilities of the eyes and ears.
Colors, sounds, smells and tastes have about the same effect on our senses as food has on the digestive organs: they are cognitive food consumed by our psyche in order to keep the exchange of information between the organism and the environment in working order.

Although colors do not have a precise meaning, they are often associated with phenomena and feelings. However, sometimes the associations between colors can be quite special for mythical, literary or cultural reasons. What has a color meant throughout history, what are the names of the colors and where do they appear?

Let’s discuss in more detail what colors tell us. This time we will take a closer look at the color beige.

The event will take place in the large hall, free of charge.
