Books, news and culture – it’s all waiting on the bus!

The library bus carries approximately 4,000 different items, offering a selection of non-fiction and fiction intended for children, young people, and adults. Our collection consists mainly of works in Estonian and Russian, but also includes some titles in English. Whether you’re interested in discovering new reading experiences or expanding your knowledge, you’ll find something for every taste on the bus.

  • We have a library card for Tallinn Libraries (former Tallinn Central Library). → register as a reader.
  • On our bus you can use the self-service machine and a computer to register as a reader and search the ESTER e-catalogue.
  • You can conveniently reserve publications whose status in the ESTER e-catalogue is “AVAILABLE” by calling 5303 7737 or by sending an email to buss@tln.lib.ee. It is not possible to queue items held by other readers.
  • The bus does not provide a service for the delivery of books from other libraries, except for Pelguranna Library.
