Tallinn Libraries launched a new world music database – Naxos Music Library World

From June 2025, Tallinn Libraries readers will be able to enjoy a rich selection of world music in a new database. Naxos Music Library World. It’s a treasure trove of sounds, with folk music from more than 150 countries – from Caribbean rhythms to Mongolian throat singing.
There will also be a number of Estonian artists, including Puuluup, Mari Kalkun, Cätlin Mägi, Rüüt band and many others.
In addition to world music, Tallinn Libraries also offers access to other Naxos databases:
- Naxos Music Library – classical music and concert recordings.
- Naxos Music Library Jazz – jazz classics and contemporary jazz.
To use the Naxos music libraries you must have:
- place of residence in Tallinn,
- a valid Tallinn Libraries library card,
- and no overdue charges to the library.
