Kadrioru Library opens its doors in a new location

3. March 2026

As of 3 March, Kadrioru Library will be welcoming readers at its new address – Narva mnt 63/2 – in the WEST building of Kadrioru Business Centre.

We are happy to say that Kadrioru Library is open again. We welcome you to browse around, have a good time and of course borrow books.
The new location is not only for books, but also for having a good time. For the first time ever, a youth corner has been created in our library, where you can spend time and use a kitchenette. We hope this will encourage young people to see the library as a meeting place and to stay longer in the library. There is a separate room for toddlers and school children from the first grade with age-appropriate books and board games.
While the previous location was inaccessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, this is now guaranteed. Books can still be borrowed and returned independently using a smart return shelf or a loaning locker. Soon to be added will be a quiet box for up to two people, ideal for working or studying.
Kadrioru Library has moved from A. H. Tammsaare House Museum to a replacement space due to renovations.
