What would life be like if your physical size was in direct correlation with your monetary wealth? What would happen if the poorest people were as small as rats and the richest were as towering as skyscrapers?

Jesse Andrews’ book „Munmun“ describes such a world. The protagonists of this book are brother and sister, Warner and Prayer, who are vulnerable because of their poverty. They live in a world where littlepoors, such as them, can become victims of a cat-attack. Cars and cellphones are far too big for them to use. And there is no point in trying to visit a school or a hospital – the buildings are too large and littlepoors have no money anyway.
