Free with a book
If you are overdue with your books, you can choose to pay the late fee or read a book in the library.
- Reading in the library on site: 10 cents = 1 minute of reading. Choose the book you want to read and register the starting and ending time of the reading with the librarian. After the reading, chat to the librarian about the book you have read and the librarian will reduce your overdue fare according to the time that you read. You can also spread the reading over several days.
- Reading at home: less than €10 overdue = 1 book, more than €10 = 2 books. The book(s) to be read should be agreed with the librarian by e-mail or phone before reading. After reading, tell the librarian about what you have read.
Children and young adults under the age of 18 can qualify for the reading.
