Mediaradar: “Utopia or Dystopia? How AI is Rewriting Truth, Learning, and Labor”

29. September 2026, 17:00 - 19:00
Tallinna Liivalaia raamatukogu, Liivalaia tn 40, 10145, Tallinn

As Artificial Intelligence rapidly evolves from a theoretical concept into the driving force of our daily lives, humanity finds itself standing at a critical crossroads.

Will this transformative technology usher in a utopian era of unparalleled efficiency, personalized knowledge, and boundless innovation? Or are we accelerating toward a dystopian future defined by mass displacement, widening inequality, and a fractured grasp on reality?

In this workshop, we are going to navigate this complex divide by examining AI’s impact on three fundamental pillars of our society.

The Workforce: The delicate balance between unprecedented productivity gains and the looming threat of human obsolescence.

The Information Space: How AI shapes the media we consume, the truth we share, and the risk of automated echo chambers.

Education: The shift from traditional learning to AI-driven personalization, and the challenge of preserving human critical thinking.
