“Happy senior citizen” is the umbrella name for the events, activities and services our library offers to older people.
- At the beginning of each month (except June-August), we publish a list of current events for seniors in the news section of the library’s website. ↓
- If you would like an overview of all the events for senior citizens once a month by e-mail, we encourage you to join our newsletter. ↓

Free digital advice for seniors – individually and in groups.
We teach you how to use email, Facebook and Teams. We’ll show you how to order and make payments online, and help you solve everyday digital problems.

Group digital advice
Learning of digital skills will take place according to availability. Let us know if you would like to participate – we will open new groups if there is interest. Pre-registration required.

Communication and community
- From the Facebook group Happy senior citizen, you can find out about our services and events, and ask questions about digital and everyday life.
A Facebook group set up by volunteers called help for older people also offers help. Library’s Teams contact, Senior Conversations . In Teams, you can ask for information about services for seniors and take part in the monthly Seniors’ Book Club. If you are unable to add the chat as a contact, please email ls@tln.lib.ee and we will send you an invitation. If you receive a contact request from us, you will see a note at the top “1 PENDING INVITE”. Click on it and accept the request. After that you will be able to participate in our chat club.

Home delivery service
Home delivery service is a service provided by Tallinn Library for Tallinn residents whose health condition does not allow them to visit the library on their own. You can borrow materials from the reading room, music and film halls of the Südalinna Library, and the Liivalaia Library.
